EPD Cumulative Release Notes for the EPD L2 public dataset from the EPD team, December 2020. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EPD data is stored in Common Data Format (CDF) files (https://cdf.gsfc.nasa.gov/). The dataset is structured into several folders for each of the sensors and data streams: category_field description ----------------- ----------------------- step-rates STEP rates step-hcad STEP high cadence step-burst STEP burst ept-rates EPT rates ept-hcad EPT high cadence ept-burst-ion EPT burst ions ept-burst-ele EPT burst electrons sis-rates-slow SIS rates slow cadence sis-rates-medium SIS rates medium cadence sis-rates-fast SIS rates fast cadence sis-hehist SIS Helium histogram het-rates HET rates het-burst HET burst For each of these datasets, daily files are stored in folders with the following convention: /l2//yyyy/mm/solo_L2_epd__yyyymmdd_VXX.cdf where VXX represents the version of the data process. Data can be inspected by clicking on the magnifying glass icon. In order to select a period of data, a search can be performed (http://espada.uah.es/epd/data/search) An API is available to facilitate access to the dataset. For information about the usage, read http://espada.uah.es/epd/data/api_help For advanced users, L2 Data can be re-created using lower level L1+CAL files. In addition to the nominal data-stream, L1 quicklook data is also available. For more detailed description of the EPD data products see http://espada.uah.es/epd/docs/SO-EPD-PO-TN-0038_iss1_rev1_DPDD.pdf DATA AVAILABILITY ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GAPS: Sept 7th-14th.
